Tuesday Thoughts

The crocodile from Peter Pan looks pretty happy here so I thought I would post this picture as a silly, happy way to reprint my excitement for the season.  The countdown to Christmas has begun!  Only a few more assignments to do here at college before I can pack up and head home for a long holiday break.  I am looking forward to being able to watch Christmas movies when I get home.

A week or so ago, I watched Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” for the first time.  Disneyland turns their Haunted Mansion into a Nightmare tribute but since I have never been there, I have never seen it.  The movie is on Netflix and I thought it would be a good movie to watch in my free time.

I did not love it as much as I thought I would.  It was an okay movie  but I thought it would be better based on all the hype there is surrounding Jack and Sally when they make a character appearance in WDW.  My favorite part of the whole movie was hearing the “This is Halloween” opening song which is included in the Halloween Fireworks at Magic Kingdom.  Other than that, I was a little bored while watching the movie.

In other Disney related news:

  • Trattoria al Forno is opening soon and the exterior has been finished.
  • The trailer for “Inside Out” has been released and I really enjoyed watching it.  Hopefully the movie is just as good as the trailer!
  • “Into the Woods” comes out on Christmas Day and has many famous stars acting in it such as Chris Pine and Johnny Depp.
  • Mickey’s Christmas Parties have been selling out for many of the nights they are offered so if you are planning to go and have not bought a ticket, do so soon!

And I have Bay Lake, Florida as a Weather location on my phone so when I woke up, I thought it was going to be 68 today.  I then noticed it was supposed to get into the 70’s this week and in my groggy, just woken up state, finally realized that the temperature was not normal for the Northeast!  And then I sadly scrolled to the correct location where it would be around 40 degrees…yay.
