If you are heading to WDW over the next month or so, you will notice spring training is going on at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. The Atlanta Braves play spring training games throughout the entire month of March and you are able to purchase tickets online. If you have an afternoon or night free and decide not to go to the park, watching a baseball game is a nice option for something to do.
Non-professional teams are also participating in spring training programs at ESPN WWOS. High school and college baseball, softball, and lacrosse teams from around the United States will be practicing and playing games. So, if you happen to want to explore ESPN WWOS one day, you might get to watch a game or a practice. The high school and college games do not usually have tickets.
I thought I would write a post on this just in case you are looking for an alternative thing to do during your Walt Disney World trip in the spring! I have not attended a spring training game but I hope to in the future!
