“The Last Lecture”

One of my favorite books is Randy Pausch’s “The Last Lecture.”  His book has many life lessons and is based on his last lecture that he gave at Carnegie Mellon University.  He discusses how he achieved his childhood dreams in the book and I would definitely recommend reading it.  If you would like to watch the lecture at Carnegie Mellon, it is on YouTube.  Randy Pausch passed away due to cancer a few years ago.  One of his quotes is on a leaf near the Teacup ride in Magic Kingdom because he helped to create a computer program which was called “Alice” and he was a cast member for a short time at Disney.

The quote reads: “Be good at something.  It makes you valuable…have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome.” -Randy Pausch
